Monaco GP: Formula 1: The highly-exciting Monaco GP culminated as Max Verstappen came home to take the chequered flag. He was closely followed by Aston Martin driver Fernando Alonso in second and Esteban Ocon in third. As expected, the glitzy and grand Monaco GP was a star-studded event complimented with a range of pre and post-race shenanigans. The popularity of his high-octane sport has skyrocketed in the past few years. Moreover, watching a race in Monaco has always been at the top of every F1 fan’s bucket list. The Sky Rise buildings and a breathtaking view of motor action sitting on yachts spread across Port Hercules is a dream of every fan, including the most-loved celebrities across the world. This year’s race was also one with the attendance of men and women of highest accomplishment. From sporting legends to TV personalities, from singers to world-renowned actors, the Formula 1 paddock in Monaco had it all.
As usual, the Saturday qualifying was the most important of all the events. In what is considered to be one of the best qualifying sessions of all time, Max Verstappen took the pole with Alonso, Ocon, and Leclerc divided just by just one tenth of a second. Notably, another common thing on both on Saturday and Sunday apart from Verstappen’s dominance was the star presence in Monaco.
Stars who attended Monaco GP 2023
The 6th round of the 2023 championship saw various famous celebs, including sporting legends and actors amongst other. Football star Neymar Jr was seen with Hollywood actor and Spiderman actor Tom Holland. The duo were having a great time spending the weekend at the most glitziest track. Notably, Neymar missed his team PSG’s celebrations to attend the GP. “It is impossible to resist the charm of F1,” said the Brazilian footballer when asked about the same.
Moreover, celebs including American actor Orlando Bloom, Cricketer Yuvraj Singh and Chris Gayle, and Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor were also in attendance at the “Jewel in crown of F1”. American singer-songwriter Kylie Minogue was also present at the paddock. The “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” delighted the Red Bull Racing team when she posed with them for a photograph in the garage.
The Disclosure star Michael Douglas was also seen chatting with F1 driver David Coulthard and later with some fans. Lastly, Russian Tennis legend Maria Sharapova was also in attendance with husband Alexander Gilkes. Now, after an exhilarating Monaco weekend, the paddock is all set to move to Spain next week for the third race of the European triple header.
