John Cena has admitted to wanting to improve his grasp over Twitter, as evident by his large number of followers on the platform. He has over 365.3K followers, this far exceeds his following of 13.4 million, but it certainly outpaces the followings of others in his field.

John Cena says he’s thinking about using Twitch and NFTs

A recent episode of the Pardon My Take podcast featured a discussion with Cena about why he is so open to social media platforms. In response to a question about his Twitter and Instagram activity, he said: “It’s hard to follow the timelines because of the number of people I follow, but I’m trying to learn more about the world.”

“I just went down a rabbit hole following EDM dance culture and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and watching Twitch streamers because I am ignorant of any of these fields.” Then he compared these things to WWE: “It is a fandom there, it is a passion there, it is a performing art there.”

Despite admitting that Twitter’s daily follow limit of 1,000 people puts him off the exercise, the ex-WWE champ insists that learning about the social media platforms he uses will allow him to become more comfortable online. If you know any of the people I follow on Twitter, you may have seen some of my tweets. If you see what I write on Twitter, you may have seen some of the stuff I post on there.

While Cena has enjoyed years of on-screen success with Monday Night RAW, SmackDown, and WWE specials offerings, he is still interested in exploring philosophical discussions with fans – including purposes for existing and why life is worth living. However, there is no still surety whether or not he plans to build out that community by engaging with them through Twitch or NFTs.
