In a recent episode of the Kurt Angle Show, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle mentioned that he will be undergoing a back procedure on March 21, 2023.
The Olympic Gold Medalist thanked God and stated that “They’re not going to do any fusion or anything like that…They’re going to clean it out. ”
He said that the doctors are going to clean all the arthritis out because he has a nerve going down his leg which is bothering him. He also said that he has pain in his lower back.
He continued: “So, they’re going to clean all that stuff out, take the bone chips out, the calcium and stuff like that.”
He mentioned that the doctors stated that he would be “good to go” after the procedure. They even said that the procedure might not relieve all the lower back pain but the WWE legend will no longer feel the pain running down his leg.

Kurt Steven Angle or Kurt Angle Retired from WWE on April 7, 2019. However recently in January 2023, he made a special appearance on the 30th anniversary of WWE Raw. He appeared in a segment with D-Generation X consisting of Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg, X-Pac and Triple H. Later, he served as a special guest referee in a Six Man Tag Team Match between The Street Profits and Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and The Imperium.
