Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins in WWE WrestleMania Backlash
At WrestleMania 38, Cody Rhodes was Vince McMahon’s surprise opponent for Seth Rollins. The American Nightmare returned to WWE after years and marked it with a win over one of WWE’s top dogs.
Seth Rollins keeps claiming that Rhodes was caught by surprise, if he was given time to time prepare it would be another story. The visionary challenged Rhodes for a rematch and now both superstars will lock horns at WrestleMania Backlash.
AJ Styles vs Edge
At the showcase of the immortals, the WWE Universe got to witness something bizarre. As AJ Styles gained control of the match, Damian Priest acted as a distraction which help Edge win and joined forces with the latter.
Since then the power and alliance of Priest and Edge is getting stronger and stronger. On the latest edition of Raw, Edge challenged Styles to match at Backlash which Styles accepted. It will be interesting to see if it remains a singles match or if we get something extreme.
RK Bro vs The Uso’s In A Winner Takes All
On the SmackDown after WrestleMania, The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns claimed if he alone can have two belts then the Uso’s should have four. These were the marching orders for the Usos.
On the following SmackDown, Randy Orton accepted the challenge on the behalf of RK Bro. Two of the best tag teams in WWE currently will battle to become the ultimate tag team of the WWE.
Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey in an ‘I Quit’ Match
At WrestleMania 38, Flair took advantage of the referee getting knocked out and defeated Rousey. The following week, Rousey wanted a rematch, however, this time she wanted an ‘I Quit match.
The Queen refused immediately but Rousey spoke to Adam Pearce and the match is set. Both women will battle again at WrestleMania Backlash for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. This time Rousey has promised to make it much worse than just make Flair tap out.
