WWE WrestleMania 37 Results, Match Card, Live Updates & Live Streaming: WWE WrestleMania 37 Match Card – Night one

Bobby Lashley (c) Beat Drew McIntyre (WWE championship)

WWE Championship — Bobby Lashley (c) beat Drew McIntyre: Lashley and McIntyre locked up and pushed each other around the ring in a collar-and-elbow to start the match. Lashley was able to hit a dominator to cut off McIntyre’s offensive flurry and scored one of the first near-falls of the match. Lashley also tried to lock in the Hurt Lock, but McIntyre was able to fight it off. A solid match based on physicality and impressive in the two men having to wait through the delay when they were seconds from walking to the ring at the start of the show. This won’t be the best match of the weekend, but was still good stuff. Bobby Lashley def. Drew McIntyre via submission to retain the title.

WWE WrestleMania 37 Results: Cesaro beat Seth Rollins: Cesaro tried for a swing twice in the opening moments of the match, but Rollins managed to avoid – finally he destroyed via same move to win by pinfall. A fun mid-card WrestleMania match that saw a true fan favorite not only get his first WrestleMania singles match, but also a victory. Things really clicked into place down the stretch in this one. Cesaro def. Seth Rollins via pinfall.

WWE WrestleMania Live: AJ Styles & Omos win RAW TAG Team Championship beating The New Day (c) vs. AJ Styles & Omos

They just made Omos look like THAT DUDE man. Incredibly strong booking. And obviously new Tag Team Champions. Omos didn’t have to do much, nor should he have, but he was perfect in his WWE debut, pinning Xavier Woods and The New Day to win he and AJ Styles the RAW Tag Team Championship.

WWE WrestleMania Results Day 1: Braun Strowman beat Shane McMahon (Steel cage match): Shane McMahon vs. Braun Strowman (Steel Cage Match): WWE WrestleMania Live: Braun Strowman def. Shane McMahon via pinfall

Despite Strowman smashing McMahon against the cage, McMahon managed to fight back before hitting the coast-to-coast dropkick for a two count. Later, when Strowman tried to stop him, McMahon grabbed a tool box from out of a bag and hit Strowman in the head with it. Afterwards, Strowman followed McMahon into the ring and hit the running powerslam for the three count.

WWE WrestleMania 37 Results LIVE: Bad Bunny & Damian Priest defeat The Miz & John Morrison: Priest and Miz started off the match, but Miz demanded Bunny tag in, accusing him of being scared – that set up the match.

Bunny took out Morrison outside the ring with a destroyer. Bunny then tagged back into the match and hit a crossbody on Miz, who was held on Priest’s shoulders, scoring the pinfall. There’s no doubt that this was an absolute success. Bunny didn’t look like a seasoned professional or anything, but he had more than a little going offensively and had to sell for a long stretch in the match. He carried his weight and by any measure, this was a true success and a brilliant match. Bad Bunny, Damian Priest def. The Miz & John Morrison via pinfall.

WWE WrestleMania 37 Match Card – Night TWO – Check what is in store on Day 2 of WrestleMania 37.

Roman Reigns (c) vs. Edge vs. Daniel Bryan (Universal championship)
Edge won the Royal Rumble to earn his shot, and he’s been pushing his dream of taking back the title he never lost (he vacated it when he had to retire a decade ago). Bryan made his way in thanks to a decision from Adam Pearce following a few turns of unfair treatment at Elimination Chamber and Fastlane. Reigns is working heel, Edge was tweener for a time and is now something much closer to full blown heel, and Bryan is babyface. It’s made for an interesting dynamic.

Asuka (c) vs. Rhea Ripley (Raw women’s championship)
It initially looked like this would be Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair but the latter was diagnosed with COVID-19 and is missing from television. Instead, Ripley, who had vignettes airing for her main roster debut, showed up with a challenge. Asuka accepted and now they’re going to challenge for the tag team titles before getting to the big dance.

Big E (c) vs. Apollo Crews (Intercontinental championship)
Crews has fully turned heel, having put E on the shelf for a brief period thanks to dropping some stairs on his neck. Now, he’ll get yet another shot at the title. On the latest episode of SmackDown, Crews challenged E to a “Nigerian Drum Fight,” though it’s unclear exactly what that entails.

Riddle (c) vs. Sheamus (United States championship)
Sheamus beat Riddle in a non-title match to earn top contender status. Riddle, the babyface, got pissed and attacked him after losing fair and square.

The Fiend vs. Randy Orton
Orton burned the guy to death and then he was resurrected and now they’re going to wrestle about it. There were rumors this would be some sort of gimmick match but so far that hasn’t even been teased. Instead, Alexa Bliss has simply promised that Orton is going to die.

Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn
Zayn has been pushing a conspiracy and Owens is the voice of reason. It’s pro wrestling, so there’s only one way to settle this — by bringing in Logan Paul, of course. He’s undecided on which side of the fence he falls on but has promised to be there for the match.

Currently, the rumor is night one will also feature a multi-team match to determine the top contender to the women’s tag team titles and night two will feature the title match between the winner of the aforementioned multi-team match and Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler. That’s expected to round out the card with 7 matches on each night.
