WWE TLC 2020: Despite Survivor Series taking place just last weekend, the build for TLC – the final WWE event of 2020 – is well and truly underway, and we are getting an idea about what the card might look like.
While no matches have been totally confirmed for TLC as of yet, we do know that Drew McIntyre will defend his WWE Championship at the show against the winner of the triple threat match on Raw next week between Riddle, Keith Lee or AJ Styles.
However, reports seem to indicate that Braun Strowman may actually be the person given the title match against Drew on PPV next month, despite being suspended this week.
In terms of other matches on the Raw side, it seems like we could see Bray Wyatt or The Fiend face Randy Orton at the show next month. This comes after The Fiend cost Orton his match with AJ Styles on Raw
Also, after the team of Lana and Asuka defeated Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax on Raw this week, some have speculated that we could see the two teams collide once again, this time for the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Following last night’s SmackDown, it seems clear that we are heading for a match between Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns for the latter’s Universal Championship, which has the potential to be great.
It also seems like, following a backstage segment on the show, that WWE is heading towards an Intercontinental Championship feud between Sami Zayn and Big E. This match could also take place at TLC.
After pinning the champions on this week’s show, it also seems likely that Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler collide with The Street Profits at TLC next month, this time with the SmackDown Tag Team Championships on the line.
WWE has also been building a feud between SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks and Carmella since before Survivor Series, and it seems like we could see the two go one-on-one at TLC as well.
Following last night’s show, it seems like we could also see King Corbin and Bayley go head-to-head with Murphy and Bianca Belair in respective singles matches at TLC, although both may be kept as solely TV feuds.
