WWE Survivor Series 2022: Brian Kendrick’s scheduled match against Jon Moxley in February never took place as his career came to an unexpected end even before it began. It was called off after past offensive comments made by the wrestler did the rounds on social media. But he did make an appearance in WWE recently which emerged as a ray of hope for the star. However, it was not the usual role he is known for. He tried something new as he came back as a producer for a match at WWE Survivor Series WarGames. Brian Kendrick was in charge for producing the SmackDown Women’s Championship match at WWE Survivor Series WarGames alongside Jason Jordan. The bout was contested between Ronda Rousey and Shotzi Blackheart with the former retaining her title.
WWE Survivor Series 2022: Ronda Rousey reportedly requested Brian Kendrick to produce her bout against Shotzi
Dave Meltzer confirmed in the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that it was Ronda Rousey who requested Kendrick to produce the match.
“What happened was, Brian Kendrick was Ronda Rousey’s original wrestling trainer, and she suggested, she asked, for him to be brought in for her match with Shotzi. So he was in on Saturday, and it was not a hire. You could say it was a tryout, I wouldn’t say it wasn’t a tryout, but it really wasn’t like a normal tryout. It was more Ronda Rousey asked for him to help her. Jason Jordan also produced it, but she asked for Brian to be brought in, so they brought him in.” (H/T – RSN)
I asked @RondaRousey for a quote to help promote my Aug 30th camp. She said very nice things that made me blush. #wrestling #prowrestling #Training pic.twitter.com/xMX0p3JyhR

WWE Survivor Series 2022: WWE SmackDown star heaps praise on Ronda Rousey
The Baddest Woman on the Planet boasts a huge fanbase and the latest member of that seems to be Zelina Vega.
Speaking on the That’s Dope podcast, Vega labeled Rousey one of the best and expressed her fondness for the world champion.
“Honestly, I love Ronda. I absolutely love Ronda. Here’s the thing. She wasn’t just some bozo off the street who’s decided to do this on a Tuesday. She was one of the best, like one of the absolute best. If she made that career change to go into WWE, that brings in her fans, that misses our fans of hers, and it’s something that people don’t get to see usually. ‘I would love to see how she matches up with this person’ or whatever,” said Vega.
