WWE Survivor Series 2021: Three reasons why Survivor Series 2021 would be better than last year- WWE’s final PPV event of 2021, Survivor Series, is scheduled for Sunday, November 21 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Six matches have been announced for the blockbuster event set on brand supremacy.

Besides multiple Champion vs. Champion bouts, the 5-on-5 traditional Survivor Series elimination tag-team match for both men & women has also been announced. The format is the same as last year, but how Survivor Series 2021 will be better than 2020? Let’s take a look,

WWE Survivor Series 2021: No Thunderdome

The 2020 WWE Survivor Series PPV took place during the pandemic era when the world was fighting with the precarious COVID-19. WWE opted for the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, to host their shows and then shifted their base to WWE Thunderdome.

Therefore, the 2020 Survivor Series took place in the Thunderdome era, and no live audiences were in attendance. The scenario, however, has changed now with Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, more than 16,000 people will be enjoying the show live, and there’s no doubt that the 2021 Survivor Series would be an event worth a watch. 

 

WWE Survivor Series 2021: Balanced teams for the men’s 5-on-5 elimination tag-team match

Last year, it was a lukewarm kind of performance put up by Team Smackdown in the traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series match. Team Raw comprised AJ Styles, Keith Lee, Sheamus, Braun Strowman, and Riddle rattled Team Smackdown, comprising Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, Otis, King Corbin, and Kevin Owens by clean sweeping them in a dominating fashion.

WWE Survivor Series 2021: Three reasons why this year’s Survivor Series will be better than 2020

This year though, both teams look perfectly balanced, and this elimination tag-team match could be the show-stealer. Team Raw, led by The Visionary Seth Rollins, comprises Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Austin Theory, and Bobby Lashley. On the other hand, Team Smackdown comprises Drew McIntyre, King Woods, Happy Corbin, Jeff Hardy, and TBA.

WWE Survivor Series 2021: Anticipation of The Rock’s arrival

One of the most alluring moments of this year’s Survivor Series is the anticipation of The People’s Champ- The Rock’s arrival. The Rock is rumored to appear at this year’s Survivor Series to celebrate his 25 years in the company and possibly plant seeds for his feud against his Bloodline cousin Roman Reigns.
