WWE Superstars: Top 3 female superstars of the year- The year 2021 has been a mixed bag for some of the top female superstars in the company. Becky Lynch’s return at Summerslam was a memorable moment, but at the same time, injuries to stars like Bayley & Sasha Banks weren’t something the fans were looking forward to. 

In this post, we have compiled a list of three female superstars who had a year to remember. The names are in no specific order- you can check them out below.

WWE Superstars: Bianca Belair

What a year it has been for the EST of WWE, Bianca Belair. The former Smackdown Women’s Champion kicked off her glorious period by winning the women’s Royal Rumble match at the Royal Rumble PPV event. After winning the monumental Royal Rumble match, she went on to main event Wrestlemania 37 alongside the then Smackdown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks.

Bianca Belair

The two ladies had a match to remember, and it was Bianca, who trumped Sasha to become a first-time Smackdown women’s Champion. She held the title with utmost prestige until the Summerslam PPV in August, where a returning Becky Lynch defeated her to regain possession of the title she never lost.

‘Big Time Becks’ Becky Lynch made an emphatic return at the Summerslam PPV event where she defeated the then Smackdown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair in 26 seconds to become the new Smackdown Women’s Champion.

Becky has now held a women’s championship title for 500 active days since WrestleMania 35, and this is a record in itself. Lynch is currently holding the Raw Women’s title and would be defending it at the WWE Day 1 PPV event.

WWE Superstars: Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair started 2021 as champion and is ending the year as a champion. Charlotte held the women’s tag-team gold along with Asuka at the start of 2021 and will be ending the year as the Smackdown Women’s Champion.

For the majority of the year, she held the Raw Women’s Championship title, and before the title swap post-WWE Draft October, Charlotte Flair holds the Smackdown Women’s title. She is now set to defend her title at the WWE Day 1 PPV event on January 1, 2022.
