WWE Superstars: 3 Superstars who deserve a World Title run- Winning a World Title in WWE is something every WWE Superstar carve for. Winning a world title is an easy task for a few as they are built in a particular manner to be the face of the company, meanwhile, for others, it is a great struggle. Many have to prove their worth time and time again and have to work hard for years to have their hands on the title.

Here, we have come up with the names of three superstars who have been around for a while but never got an opportunity to get their hands on the coveted World Championship. So, without any further ado, let’s start,

WWE Superstars: Shinsuke Nakamura

The Japanese legend Shinsuke Nakamura made his way to the main roster on Friday Night Smackdown in 2017 with great prominence. After impressing one and all with his unmatchable in-ring abilities in NJPW, Shinsuke inked a deal with WWE in 2016, where he worked under WWE NXT for a year.

He held the NXT Championship for quite some time before moving to Smackdown on April 4, 2017, episode. Nakamura was someone tailor-made to be the face of the company given his impressive resume, but he diminished before he could propel.

Shinsuke Nakamura won the 2018 Royal Rumble and challenged the then WWE Champion AJ Styles at Wrestlemania 34 but lost the match before turning heel. He did get some minuscule opportunities for the title again but never returned successfully.

Currently, Shinsuke is a mid-card performer who holds the Intercontinental Championship on Friday Night Smackdown. His road to claiming the World Championship seems to be graced with obstacles, but he is someone who definitely deserves a World title run.

WWE Superstar: Cesaro

The Swiss Superman Cesaro is one of the most underrated and underused superstars in WWE today. He is a former United States Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and tag-team champion. The only championship that eludes him in WWE is a world title.

Cesaro got a push earlier this year when he defeated Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania 37 in April. Many thought that was it, now he should, and he will get a World title shot, but it was only at the expense of making him a scapegoat before WWE’s favorite son Roman Reigns’ Universal Title run.

Reigns and Cesaro collided at Wrestlemania Backlash in May, but we all knew who was going to win. Vince McMahon & Co.’s regular push to make Roman Reigns a living legend got the better of Cesaro & the latter’s push got halted suddenly. Today, we don’t even see Cesaro as a regular face on Smackdown, but we hope he gets a much-deserved World Championship run soon.

WWE Superstar: John Morrison

Former ECW Champion John Morrison is another veteran who is eluded of a World Championship run. John Morrison was the find of WWE’s 2002 Tough Enough competition. He made his debut on the main roster in 2004 before leaving in 2011.

He returned to the company 8 years later after performing on different independent circuits, including Lucha Libre, Lucha Underground, and also another pro-wrestling promotion TNA (now Impact Wrestling), under different ring names.

He returned to WWE in 2019 for his second tenure with the company and realigned himself with his close friend The Miz. Two years later in June 2021, Morrison was betrayed by his friend The Miz on an episode of Monday Night Raw, and since then he has been struggling to find some apt storylines and get screen time. He deserves a World Title run though, and while Morrison is nearing 45, WWE should consider giving him a World Title run sooner rather than later.
