WWE returns to India nearly six years later as fans in India will witness the superstars in action. Recently, WWE India’s official page made the announcement of the company’s return after a long time. WWE will host the event titled “WWE Superstar Spectacle” event live on September 8th at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, India.

Earlier, WWE planned to visit India in January 2023; however, the company pushed their plans for unknown reasons. Back in May 2023, WWE CEO Nick Khan assured the company’s return to South Asia for their big Indian fanbase.
WWE has released the official poster for WWE Superstar Spectacle. It features World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER, Jinder Mahal, Veer, Sanga, Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch, Natalya, Matt Riddle and Ludwig Kaiser.
Above are the currently advertised superstars for the show. However, there is no confirmation of Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns’ appearance on the show. The entire roster will be confirmed following WWE SummerSlam this month.
WWE’s return to India after six years will be huge for Indian fans. In 2017, WWE visited India during Jinder Mahal’s WWE Heavyweight Champion reign. The show featured several stars, including The Shield, Triple H, The New Day, Natalya, and many others.
