WWE News: Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, and Bray Wyatt were the biggest surprise
Former Universal Champions Braun Strowman & Bray Wyatt, along with former NXT Champion Aleister Black, were among the most shocking release WWE made this year. They were on the top of their game and in the middle of a serious push. No one saw them getting released, but the ‘budget cut’ policy didn’t spare anyone.
Bray Wyatt & Braun StrowmanNia Jax, Andrade, and Karrion Kross were also among the shocking names to face the axe. Kross was perhaps the most intimidating NXT Champion in history but wasn’t valued much when he moved to WWE Raw. Perhaps, lack of storylines along with the budget cut scenario, forced him out of WWE, despite shining like a superstar on NXT.
