Recently, WWE announced Riddle’s injury calling off the match for SummerSlam. Earlier, WWE scheduled Seth Rollins vs Riddle at SummerSlam, but due to Rollins’ recent attack on Riddle, WWE canceled the match. However, the match isn’t canceled due to Riddle suffering any injury.

According to recent reports, FightFul Select reported Riddle’s injury is scripted to postpone the match further. With the recent changes to WWE’s creative team, WWE recently decided to cancel the match with Seth Rollins’ vicious attack on Riddle in the final segment of Monday Night Raw. The recent changes made for the SummerSlam event were justified as “creative adjustments” by the company.
The reports suggest that Seth Rollins and Riddle are scheduled for a further Premium Live Event, which is likely the Clash at the Castle in September, but still there are no confirmations for the match to occur.
The recent changes in WWE’s creative team brought massive changes over the past week. Currently, Paul Levesque, fka, Triple H has taken over as the head of the creative team and EVP of Talent Relations.

WWE SummerSlam 2022: Seth Rollins Comments on cancelled SummerSlam match
Seth Rollins will no longer be part of the SummerSlam Premium Live Event. As the recent announcement spread out, many WWE fans are disappointed. Recently, the Visionary took to Twitter to react to his canceled SummerSlam match.
For anyone who purchased a ticket to #SummerSlam hoping to see me in action, I apologize. I did everything I could over the last 6 months to earn my spot on this show, but some things are out of my control. Thank you for always singing my song. They’ll hear ya someday.

“For anyone who purchased a ticket to SummerSlam hoping to see me in action, I apologize,” Rollins tweeted. “I did everything I could over the last 6 months to earn my spot on this show, but some things are out of my control. Thank you for always singing my song. They’ll hear ya someday.”
Although WWE fans might not see Seth Rollins at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, he is still scheduled to be in Nashville, Tennessee for SummerSlam weekend.
