There were speculations that Ronda Rousey would be seen taking part in this year’s Royal Rumble Match. However, Rousey didn’t appear in the Royal Rumble.
Following that a month later in an episode of WWE SmackDown, Rousey was seen walking out. Following the episode, an announcement was made.
What happened on WWE SmackDown?
In last week’s SmackDown, Natalya was seen inside the ring. She mentioned how Shayna broke her nose and called her a cheap knockoff of Ronda Rousey. Shayna Baszler appeared and made a few comments.
Following this, Ronda Rousey walked out and entered the ring. Rousey and Baszler exchanged glances before attacking Natalya. Shotzi rushed in to make a save but was beaten by the duo.
With that, a match was announced between the four women.
Thus, on SmackDown 17, 2023, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler will face Natalya and Shotzi in a Tag Team Match.
