WWE SmackDown: WWE Announces Fatal 5-way match to determine Gunther’s WrestleMania opponent for the IC Title next week
WWE recently announced that Kofi Kingston, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, LA Knight and Karrion Kross will face each other on SmackDown next week in a fatal five-way match to determine Gunther’s WrestleMania opponent for the Intercontinental Championship Title.

This match was declared after a huge brawl that took place between the five men on Friday Night SmackDown this week.
What happened on WWE SmackDown?
On Friday Night SmackDown this week, Drew McIntyre was seen inside the ring. He stated that with WrestleMania close enough, he still doesn’t have a match. He then said that he wants Gunther as his WrestleMania opponent.

Right then Sheamus walked out and stated that the Intercontinental title means a lot to him and he badly wants to face Gunther. With that, the duo started arguing. However, soon enough they were interrupted by LA Knight. After Knight, The New Day walked out. Kingston then mocked Knight. With that, Karrion Kross walked out.

Knight used this distraction and attacked Kingston from behind. Thus, a brawl broke out. McIntyre took out The New Day and LA Knight while Kross sneaked into the ring and took out Sheamus.
