WWE Smackdown: Is this the last of Brock Lesnar for this year?- Something out of the blues happened tonight on WWE Smackdown. The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar was indefinitely suspended following his merciless attack on the WWE crew members, including the cameraman, the referee, and a production guy. But have we witnessed the last of Brock Lesnar for this year? Let’s discuss.

It all took place after a livid Brock Lesnar made his way to the ring when the Universal Champion Roman Reigns dared to call him out. Lesnar was already fuming after what the Usos and Roman did to him at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia and was eager to get his hands on the Universal Champion.

WWE Smackdown: Brock Lesnar brutally decimated Roman Reigns and The Usos

The opening segment of tonight’s Smackdown was nothing short of mayhem. Once Brock’s music hit and he arrived onto the scene, he simply rushed into the ring and floored Roman Reigns with a vicious clothesline.

Roman then moved outside near the announce table and was followed by the Beast. He tried to shrug Brock with his offense, but Lesnar grabbed him with his hands and sent him crashing into the steel stairs. It was chaos all around the ring, and Lesnar had his Beast Mode activated.

After Lesnar was done decimating The Bloodline, Adam Pearce appeared in the ring and announced that Brock Lesnar has been suspended indefinitely following his brutal actions on WWE Crew members. The announcement didn’t amuse Lesnar. He marched his way back to the ring and took out Adam Pearce with two F5s.

WWE Smackdown: Will we ever see Brock Lesnar again this year?

The indefinite suspension seems to be a part of the storyline. It is perhaps the best way to keep the Beast off WWE TV until Royal Rumble in January 2022, where he could participate in the 30-man Royal Rumble match, win it, and headline Wrestlemania 38 against Roman Reigns.

The Tribal Chief will be having possession of the Universal Championship until Royal Rumble 2022. The company wants him to become the longest-reigning Universal Champion in history by surpassing Brock Lesnar’s tally of 504 days as Universal Champion. With The Rock’s status dicy for Wrestlemania 38, Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar at the showcase of Immortals for next year would be an epic showdown.
