WWE Smackdown: The ho-home Hell in a Cell edition of WWE Smackdown is all set to reveal the final few matches for the PPV event scheduled for this Sunday. Three bouts have already been announced for the night, but one segment involving The Head of The Table, Roman Reigns & the Master of 619 Rey Mysterio, is expected to hype their Hell in a Cell Match this Sunday.
Roman Reigns have been running things on the Blue brand, ever since he won the Universal Championship in one of the most unconvincing manners last year at WWE Payback. He has looked like a brute force since then and dominated WWE Smackdown on his own.
WWE Smackdown: The Rey Mysterio and Roman Reigns battle of family
Rey Mysterio challenged Roman Reigns for a Universal Championship match last week on WWE Smackdown before the ambush strikes of kendo sticks. The challenge came in the light of what Roman did to his son a week back. Like a desperate father, Rey wanted to lay his hands on the Head of The Table, and a match at Hell in Cell PPV inside the hellacious structure was perhaps the best way for the Master of 619 to get a payback.
The challenge was later accepted by Roman’s special counsel Paul Heyman on Talking Smack, and soon WWE made the match official. The two will battle inside the Cell this Sunday, but before that, Roman Reigns wants Rey Mysterio to acknowledge him “properly” this week on WWE Smackdown.
After going through Rey’s kendo stick attack last week, the Head of the Table took to Twitter and warned the former World Champion to acknowledge him properly this week.
“For a man whose legend looms so large in our industry, he sunk to the lowest depths to try to take me down. Next week, you will #AcknowledgeMe properly. #HIAC”
