WWE Smackdown Results of the night

King Woods and Roman Reigns confrontation- King Woods was standing in the middle of the ring and called out Roman Reigns. He said that the so-called Tribal Chief can’t do anything with his goofs The Usos. He called out Roman Reigns and finally, the Universal Champion came out.

Reigns came out and stood on the ramp with Paul Heyman. He then ordered Paul to call out The Usos. Paul tried calling out The Usos, but none of the two came out. All of a sudden, we saw The Usos sent outside on the ramp by someone, and that someone was none other than the WWE Champion Big E.

Big E then bumped into Roman Reigns and sent him crashing into the steel stairs then to the barricade. He then sent him inside the ring where King Woods was already standing and the two New Day members started the assault on Reigns.

The Usos came out to intervene, but they could do nothing. Roman did get an opportunity to hit Big E with a Superman Punch, but when he was going for a Spear, Big E hoisted him for a Big Ending, and to evade the same, Roman Reigns escaped the ring.

Backstage- Toni Storm gets interviewed backstage where she talks about Charlotte Flair whom she confronted last week and threw a challenge to put her title on the line. As Toni was talking, Charlotte entered the frame and said that once she is done defeating Becky at Survivor Series, she will give Toni Storm to take her title and will beat her the same way she beats Becky Lynch on Sunday.

Sasha Banks vs. Shotzi- The two fierce rivals started with a classic wrestling lock and Shotzi sent Sasha to the corner post. The two ladies then exchanged a few blows in the middle of the ring and even grabbed each other’s hairs and then had some blows exchanged, before Sasha gave a tribute to the late Eddie Guerrero with 3 Amigos.

We saw Sasha taken out by Shotzi and the latter bashed her face-first on the steel stairs. After this, Shotzi targeted Sasha’s hand by placing it inside the steel stairs and continuously kicking it. Finally, Sasha Banks got out of it. Shotzi then tried sending her back into the ring, but Sasha hit a rolled kick right on the side of Shotzi’s head and a double knee dive from the apron on the outside floored Shotzi. We now move into commercials.

After the commercial, we saw both the ladies inside the ring and Shotzi was working on the injured hand of Sasha Banks. Shotzi then sent Sasha into the corner again, but Sasha countered by sending Shotzi face-first on the middle turnbuckle. Sasha then ran into Shotzi with a double knee in the corner, and then dived from the top turnbuckle with the double knee.

Sasha went for a cover but Shotzi kicked out at 2-count. The two ladies then went back & forth with their offense. We saw Shotzi working on Sasha’s injured hand and bashed her shoulder-first into the corner post from the apron, before hitting her with a neck breaker from the middle-rope. In the closing moments of the match, we saw Sasha Banks grappling Shotzi in a crossface and she tapped out.

After the match got over, Sasha shook hands with Shotzi as both ladies are a part of Team Smackdown at Survivor Series, but later hit a backstabber to Shotzi to leave her reeling inside the ring.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Angel- As the bell rang, Angel tried distracting Shinsuke by throwing his pans on him and hitting a dropkick. Shinsuke after going through some lusty blows got his offense right and got him with some kicks.

Shinsuke then sent Angel outside the ring and hit him with a diving knee on the outside near the announce table. Shinsuke then sent Angel rolling inside the ring, but Humberto caught his leg from the outside, Rick Boogs saw it and held Humberto from his gut, shook him up, and finally sent him on the floor. Meanwhile, inside the ring, Nakamura hit a Kinshasa to end Angel’s play.

Backstage- Roman Reigns and King Woods will go face-to-face later tonight. The revelation was made by Roman’s special counsel Paul heyman.

Jeff Hardy vs. Madcap Moss- Even before the match could have started, Hardy took the mic and told Moss that if he has Happy Corbin in his corner, then he also has got some backup. The backup was none other than Drew McIntyre.

As the bell rang, Madcap Moss went right after Hardy by bashing him with his brutal moves. After going through some beating, Hardy retaliated by going old school and hitting a basement dropkick to rock Madcapp Moss. He then hit a Twist of Fate and was heading to the top turnbuckle for a Whisper in the Wind.

Corbin then went on the apron to distract Hardy and succeded, but later he was pulled down and sent over the announce table by Drew McIntyre. In the ring, Madcap tried to take advantage but was rolled up by the Charismatic Enigma for a pinfall win.

After the match got over, McIntyre hit a Claymore to Happy Corbin, meanwhile Jeff Hardy hit the Whisper in the Wind on Madcap Moss to end the match on a high.

Backstage- We saw Sami Zayn and Sonya Deville having an argument over Sami not making it to Team Smackdown. Sonya then tells Sami that she has added Sami into the 25-man Battle Royal, a match that has just been announced. The lady referee then approached Sonya and asked her if she did a great job in Naomi’s match. Sonya totally rubbished her claims and sent her out of the scene.

Aliyah & Naomi vs. Natalya & Shayna Baszler- Time for a 4-woman tag-team match.

Aliyah & Natalya started the proceedings of the match. Aliyah stunned Natalya right up there in the opening moments. She then sent Natalya to her corner with a Hurricane Rana and tagged in Naomi. Natalya tagged in Shayna and now Shayna and Naomi were in the ring.

The two ladies exchanged some blows after Naomi and Aliyah worked together to take the fight to Baszler & Natalya, respectively. After a few exchange of blows between Naomi & Shayna, Natalya took the tag and rolled up Naomi from behind for a pin. She succeeded courtesy of a fast three-count from the lady referee who just left the ring after a swift three-count.

Backstage- Jeff Hardy was getting interviewed backstage and got asked about what he thinks about Team Smackdown’s chances at Survivor Series. While Jeff was talking, he was cut short by Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss, who cracked a joke on Hardy on Corbin’s command. Adam Pearce entered the scene then and made a match official for later tonight between Moss & Hardy.

Fatal 4-way: Ricochet vs. Jinder Mahal, Sheamus vs. Cesaro- As the bell rang, Cesaro took out Jinder Mahal, while Sheamus took the fight to Ricochet. The scenario changed in a while when Jinder took the fight to Ricochet while Cesaro went after his former tag-team mate Sheamus.

Jinder sent Ricochet on the rope for Sheamus to deliver the 10 beats on his chest. Sheamus accepted the invitation and hit 2 right-hand strikes until Jinder came from behind and tried a roll-up pin on him. Sheamus kicked out at 2 but then went after Jinder, beat him down with 10 strikes on the chest, and sent him outside.

Ricochet then came from behind and based into Sheamus to send him outside. He did the same with Cesaro to send him outside the ring and then went for a rollicking dive from the top rope to dive right on the three-man on the outside. We now head into commercials.

After the commercial, we saw Ricochet and Cesaro on one side of the corner to-turnbuckle and Sheamus & Jinder up on the other. Sheamus superplexed Jinder, meanwhile Ricochet sent Cesaro down with a Hurricane Rana.

We now saw Cesaro going for the wild Cesaro swing on Jinder Mahal and completely perplexed him with 20+ swings. He then went for the sharpshooter on Jinder Mahal and placed it perfectly. Ricochet broke the hold by hitting multiple kicks on the chest of Cesaro and sending him outside the ring. He then placed a perfect moonsault from the top turnbuckle on Jinder and just when he was going for a pinfall, Sheamus caught him with a brogue kick.

In the closing moments, Cesaro and Sheamus were in the ring, and Ridge Holland came out rushing towards the ring to distract Cesaro. He succeeded in doing so, and Sheamus hit Cesaro with a Brogue Kick to win the match and earn a spot in Team Smackdown for Survivor Series.

Backstage- A depleted yet furious King Woods told the interviewer backstage that he is going to call out Roman Reigns later tonight and challenge him.

The Usos kick off the show- The Usos kick off the show. Both Jimmy & Jey Uso were standing in the middle of the ring and called out Roman Reigns to acknowledge him, to bestow him with the King’s crown and scepter.

Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman were both in the ring now and Paul Heyman had the mic in his hand. He said that there’s no one in WWE to be crowned the King of WWE. He added that neither Xavier Woods, Brock Lesnar, nor Big E deserves to be called the King of WWE.

Roman Reigns then took the crown and asked that who’s idea was this (the King’s crown and scepter). Paul pointed towards The Usos and then Roman said that all this doesn’t mean anything to him he wore the crown last week because he can do it without any hesitation.

Roman’s segment was cut short by King Woods who walked out on the ramp. He stood there with the mic in his hand and said to Roman that a real King doesn’t need all this (Crown, scepter, King’s chair, etc.), but a real king does everything for the WWE Universe. After hearing King Woods’ words, Roman Reigns asked if he is sure he doesn’t need all these properties and commanded his cousin Jey Uso to dismantle every property present in the ring one by one.

On Roman’s command, Jey Uso dismantled everything. When Reigns was about to stomp the King’s crown, King Woods rushed into the ring, but The Usos beat the hell out of him. Finally Reigns stomped on the crown right before King Wood’s face.
