WWE SmackDown: Miscommunication, not Liv Morgan, was to blame for the table botch
Last week’s Friday Night SmackDown saw some unexpected turn of events when Liv Morgan botched a table during the 6-pack challenge as she faced off against Raquel Rodriguez. Reports say – she wasn’t able to leap far enough and hit the target, which caused the table to wreck and eventually may have caused some minor injuries to the Superstar.
After the match, fans pointed fingers at Liv and her inability to jump over a table. But the truth was far more than what meets the eye.
Wrestling Observer Radio claims – The wreckage was caused by a miscommunication between the two superstars and Liv Morgan was not to be blamed for the kerfuffle. Dave Meltzer also said, “There was a miscommunication, from what I understand. In the sense that it wasn’t supposed to be like that but it got changed like at the last second. I don’t know if everyone knew. Liv dove off the barricade but didn’t get far enough because originally it was going to be a different spot. From what I gather when they were going to the ring it got changed and maybe Liv didn’t hear about the change so that was the result”.
The rest of the match went as per the plan. Shotzi won the 6-pack challenge and moved up to the top of the SmackDown Women’s Title contender list.
