WWE Smackdown Match Card: Intercontinental Championship
The new Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn will put his title on the line against Ricochet on next week’s show. Zayn has promised to kick off his third Intercontinental title reign as a fighting champion, and Ricochet will be his first challenger.

The match was booked tonight on the show in a backstage segment after Zayn dispatched the interfering Johnny Knoxville in his in-ring segment. Zayn was confronted by Adam Pearce that is when Ricochet entered the scene and offered Zayn to take him up on his open challenge. Pearce liked the idea and made the match official for next week.

In a first-time-ever match, Ronda Rousey will be taking on Sonya Deville, who has been bothering the former ever since the build-up of the tag-team bout at Elimination Chamber.

The Usos assaulted The Viking Raiders before the Smackdown tag-team match could have started at the Elimination Chamber PPV. Now the two teams are all set to collide against each other with the tag-team titles on the line.
