WWE Smackdown Match Card: Intercontinental Championship
After so many days, the Intercontinental Championship will be defended on WWE TV. “King” Shinsuke Nakamura will be putting his title on the line against the former champion Apollo Crews this coming week.
Nakamura won the title from Crews back in the Summerslam go-home episode of Friday Night Smackdown, and since then, he has not defended his title. Rick Boogs defeated Robert Roode in a singles match this week on Smackdown. After that, Boogs and Nakamura danced off near the announce table along with Pat McAfee to celebrate Boogs’ win.
