Previously, at the Trial of the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, Reigns, and Solo Sikoa wreaked havoc. This resulted in Jimmy Uso being rushed to a medical facility, while Jey Uso challenged Roman Reigns to a trial by combat. Also, last week Jey Uso brutally attacked Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa. With that, The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns will return on Friday Night SmackDown this week to discuss the ‘Rules of Engagement’ with Jey Uso.
Apart from that, the United States Championship Invitational tournament which started last week on WWE SmackDown, will continue this week on Friday Night SmackDown. Last week, Santos Escobar defeated Grayson Waller, AJ Styles, and Butch in a Fatal Four-Way Match. While, this week Rey Mysterio, LA Knight, Sheamus, and Cameron Grimes will collide in the second Fatal Four-Way Match.
Also, Since the upcoming pay-per-view event, WWE SummerSlam 2023 is fast approaching, several matches might get confirmed for the event on Friday Night SmackDown this week.
