Yet again, Gunther has done it!
The duo circled one another at start. Though Gunther applied an arm twist, Strowman used all his powers and tossed Gunther over and out of the top ring. Strowman then ran around the ring and gave a shoulder block which sent Gunther over the announcement table.

A while later, Gunther took control, smashed Strowman’s hand into hard surfaces. He then applied Top wristlock, Strowman all fired up, Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser came in and applied unsuccessful attempts. Strowman passed it all, and hit Gunther with a powerslam. Gunther then applies a short arm scissors, Strowman however, deadlifts Gunther into a suplex.

Keeping it on, Strowman gets a upper hold, Gunther however twisted Strowman’s arm to achieve a successful escape and then smashed his arm multiple times. Pulling Strowman off the turnbuckles, Gunther landed a powerbomb and it’s over.

What Can Happen After This Win?
As we already know, Gunther had previously expressed his interest in competing in the Men’s Royal Rumble this year. Now that he has successfully defended his Intercontinental Title, there might be a possibility that the fans can see him in Royal Rumble 2023.
