Who will be Seth Rollins’ opponent on WWE SmackDown this week?
Previously, it was announced that Seth Rollins will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest of The Judgment Day on Friday Night SmackDown this week, which will air live from Madison Square Garden.
However, in a last-minute twist, Seth Rollins’ opponent for the episode has been altered. Now it has been advertised that Seth Rollins will face Finn Balor in a singles match. The explanation as to why this last-minute twist occurred, is still missing.
Thus, Seth Rollins will face Finn Balor in a singles match on the July 7, 2023, episode of Friday Night SmackDown that will take place at Madison Square Garden.
However, earlier this week on Monday Night Raw, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins faced Dominik Mysterio of The Judgment Day in a singles match. But, Damian Priest attacked Rollins during the match which resulted in a disqualification win for Rollins. Following the attack, it looked like Mr. Money in the Bank 2023, Priest was going to cash in on Rollins but Finn Balor came out of nowhere and attacked Rollins. The episode ended with Finn Balor arguing with Damian Priest.
