WWE Smackdown: Drew McIntyre is willing to face Brock Lesnar with a live audience in attendance- Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has expressed his desire to face the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar with a live audience in attendance. The Scottish Warrior defeated the Beast Incarnate at Wrestlemania 36 to become the WWE Champion for the first time in his career. However, that win came inside the Performance Center behind closed doors courtesy of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Drew is one of the top draws in the company today and perhaps the biggest babyface. Recently he got drafted to the Blue brand (WWE Smackdown) during the WWE Draft and is touted to have a feud with Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship.

WWE Smackdown: Drew McIntyre wants to face Brock Lesnar again

Drew appeared on WWE’s The Bump, where he revealed that he desires to face Brock Lesnar yet again, but this time before a live audience. Here’s what the Scottish Warrior said,

“I’m always excited to get into the ring with the absolute best. There’s not many that are as good or as physical as Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. I did defeat him in five minutes. But I would like the opportunity to face Brock again and in front of a live audience.”

Drew McIntyre defeated Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship in their only previous meeting at Wrestlemania 36

This match can happen in the future or maybe next year, especially considering Brock Lesnar is a free agent and can appear on both Raw & Smackdown.

WWE Smackdown: What’s next for Drew McIntyre?

Despite getting drafted to Friday Night Smackdown, McIntyre will be challenging Raw’s WWE Champion Big E for the title at WWE Crown Jewel on October 21. That is supposed to be the Scottish Warrior’s final match under WWE Raw before he finally moves to the Blue brand on October 22 and possibly starts a feud with Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship.
