Big E suffered the injury tonight during a tag team bout. He teamed up with his New Day mate Kofi Kingston to take on the team of Sheamus and Ridge Holland. At one point in the match, Ridge hit an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on Big E in front of the announce desk, and the latter landed badly on his head. The medical team came to attend him immediately, and he got stretchered while Kofi finished the bout. You can check Big E’s post on Twitter after he was hospitalized with a broken neck.
WWE Smackdown: Pete Dunne debuts on the main roster as ‘Butch’
Apart from Big E’s injury, one more thing that attracted many eyeballs was the debut of NXT’s Bruiserweight Pete Dunne. Dunne made his debut as Butch and intervened in the match to help Sheamus and Ridge Holland secure a win.
In the video Big E posted on his official Twitter handle, he said, “I can’t thank all of you beautiful people enough, for all of your concern, and your messages, it’s very heart-warming.

He further added, “I can move all my digits [fingers], you see that? That’s nice, it’s always a good thing. Strength feels fine, but unfortunately, right now, they tell me my neck is broken. So there’s that. But once again, thank you, everybody. I am gonna be alright, I’ll be good. Don’t worry, go to sleep, don’t worry about ‘ol me. But for real, thank you, and I appreciate all of you, for real.”

We at InsideSport.IN wish for a speedy recovery of Big E, but with this injury, it seems like hr may have to miss Wrestlemania 38.
