WWE Royal Rumble: King Woods injury- New Day member King Woods has suffered a leg injury and won’t be taking part at the Royal Rumble PPV event. The injury news was shared by King Woods himself during the G4’s “Attack of the Show.” He is expected to be out of action for 4-6 weeks.

Woods becomes the latest injury addition in the list of Smackdown Superstars. Bayley, Drew McIntyre, and Ridge Holland are the other Blue brand superstars who are already missing the show due to injury.

WWE Royal Rumble: King Woods won’t compete at the Royal Rumble
King Woods suffered injured his leg last week on Smackdown while competing against The Usos for the Smackdown tag-team titles in a Street Fight. This week on Smackdown, King Woods’ right hand Sir Kofi Kingston appeared on the show and broke the news that the former won’t be competing at the Royal Rumble PPV event.

Sir Kofi further added that without King Woods, Royal Rumble won’t be Royal, therefore, to ensure there is a royal representation in the Royal Rumble match, Sir Kofi announced himself as one of the entrants for the bout.

WWE Royal Rumble: 4 more additions made to the men’s Royal Rumble match
The men’s Royal Rumble match is surely shaping up. Four new names, including Sir Kofi Kingston, Madcap Moss, Happy Corbin, and Sami Zayn, have declared themselves for the 30-men Royal Rumble match. The Royal Rumble PPV event is all set to take place at The Dome in St Louis, Missouri, on Sunday, January 29. The Dome happens to be the largest venue in the history of the Royal Rumble PPV event.
