WWE Royal Rumble 2022: Seth Rollins ends Roman Reigns title run

Roman Reigns is all set to defend the Universal Championship against his former Shield brother Seth Rollins. The two men go back in history and hold a neck-to-neck figure of 4-4 in singles competition.

Fans are speculating that Rollins could be the one to end Roman Reigns’ 500+ days reign as the Universal Champion, and it could be a sheer surprise if Rollins defeats Roman Reigns and end his immaculate title run.

WWE Royal Rumble 2022: Drew McIntyre returns from injury

The 2020 men’s Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre is out due to a neck injury and has not been announced for the men’s Royal Rumble match this year. Drew is one of the top draws in the company and having him miss a PPV event like Royal Rumble isn’t what the WWE Universe is looking forward to.

Therefore, Drew’s return to the PPV event this Saturday night could send shockwaves among the crowd as he is expected to be out for quite some time due to his neck injury. If Drew makes his way in the 30-man Royal Rumble match, the crowd going berserk could be a scenario for sure.

WWE Royal Rumble 2022: Lita wins the women’s Royal Rumble match

Dreams came true for the Rated-R Superstar Edge when he won the 30-man Royal Rumble match last year by outlasting 29 other men. No one expected Edge to do what he did at the age of 46, but his sheer grit and the will to prove his mettle paved way for his success.

The scenario is almost same for another WWE veteran Lita who has returned for hopefully one more WWE run. Lita doesn’t have to prove anything when it comes to greatness, but she wants to overcome the odds stacked against her at this age and win the Royal Rumble match to main event Wrestlemania. If Lita wins the women’s Rumble it will surely be the biggest surprise of the night.
