Wolfe’s exit was almost predicted after this week’s NXT
On this week’s episode of WWE NXT, it was seen in a segment that two of the Imperium members attacked Wolfe from behind and take him down.- This was perhaps a way of WWE writing of Wolfe from TV.
Kavita Devi’s exit was a big shock for Indian fans
Kavita Devi, WWE’s first-ever female professional wrestler, was also among those who faced the axe this week due to budget cuts. Kavita, who signed her WWE contract in 2017 and competed in the inaugural Mae Young Classic tournament, was mostly used as a part-time performer in WWE NXT.
The 34-year old former powerlifter and TV presenter last made a televised appearance in July 2019, after which she had to rush back to India due to a family emergency. Since then, she was never able to make a comeback owing to COVID-19 restrictions and all. The biggest highlight of her 2-year WWE career was making her only appearance at the ‘Showcase of Immortals’ Wrestlemania 34 as one of the competitors in the Women’s Battle Royal.
