WWE Raw: Becky Lynch took permission from The Rock to use his move- Becky Lynch’s shocking return at WWE Summerslam in August earlier this year sent the 40,000+ crowd present at the Allegiant Stadium into a frenzy.
Becky confronted the Smackdown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and challenged her to put her title on the line. She defeated the EST of WWE in just 26 seconds using a new offense, ‘The Manhandle Slam,’ a move-set that was not associated with Lynch in the past.

If you look at it closely, The Manhandle Slam is somewhat similar to The Rock’s, Rock Bottom. Pro-wrestling fans can easily determine the similarities between the two moves, and now the WWE Raw Superstar has revealed that she called “The Brahma Bull” The Rock and took his permission to use his finisher.

Becky recently appeared on the Out Of Character Podcast of Ryan Satin where she revealed the truth. She said,
“So I used a variation of The Rock Bottom before, but it is just easier to get it and go. I asked The Rock if I could use it, and he was very gracious and said that I could.”

She further continued,
“Called him. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I told him how SummerSlam is gonna go down. And said, ‘Look, here’s what I’m thinking. I am supposed to hit one move on her. Can I use this?’ ‘Yeah!’”
WWE Raw: Becky Lynch will be defending her title at Crown Jewel
Becky Lynch will be defending her Smackdown Women’s Championship title for the second time ever since becoming the champion. She will be defending the title against Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks in a Triple-Threat match at the Crown Jewel event on Thursday, October 21.
