WWE says Johnny Gargano has a grade 2 AC sprain

On this week’s Monday Night Raw, WWE announced that the WWE Raw Superstar, Johnny Gargano, has suffered a Grade 2 AC Joint Sprain in his shoulder and thus, he is out of action. Gargano hasn’t wrestled since Dec. 30, and it is still cloudy for how long he will remain out of action.
Who is Johnny Gargano?
John Anthony Nicholas Gargano, popularly known by the ring name Johnny Gargano is an American professional wrestler best known for his period in NXT, where he went on to become the first-ever NXT Triple Crown champion. He also won the NXT North American Championship thrice and a one-time winner of the NXT Tag Team Championship. The popularity gained by him in NXT gifted him with the popular nickname “The Heart and Soul of NXT”. In December 2021, he let his WWE contract expire but decided to return to the promotion in August. However, he is currently sidelined due to his injury. His wife, Candice LeRae, also commended the injury and stated that Gargano is focusing on getting fit and healthy so as to return as soon as possible.
What did the WWE Raw Superstar commented?
Gargano himself commented on the news in a tweet and stated that the medical team will be protecting him from himself for sometime. He promised to do “EVERYTHING” that he can, in order to return to the ring, he also made clear about his desire to be in the Royal Rumble.
I injured my shoulder at a live event in Toronto (ironic?), and the medical team is going to protect me from myself for a bit.. but you better believe I’m going to do EVERYTHING I can to get back in that ring so I can be that guy you all know I can be. Just let me in that Rumble!

Besides feeling extremely disheartened for the wrestler, all we can do is pray for his speedy recovery.
