WWE Raw: Rey Mysterio wishes to have a feud with Finn Balor- WWE veteran Rey Mysterio is going toe-to-toe against the current stars in the company, and now it seems like he has his sights set on the first-ever Universal Champion Finn Balor.

Rey and Balor were involved in a grueling fatal 4-way ladder match last week on Monday Night Raw. Both men had a nice outing in the fatal 4-way match and reminded the crowd of their prowess. After working with him along with others, now it seems like Rey is interested in having a feud with Balor.

WWE Raw: Finn Balor and Rey Mysterio were both part of Friday Night Smackdown before WWE Draft

Balor and Rey were part of the Blue brand before getting drafted on Monday Night Raw during the WWE Draft 2021. During their time on Smackdown, the two men never crossed paths, and we, as fans, never got to witness two extremely talented superstars going up against each other.

Finn Balor teamed up with Rey & Dominik Mysterio in a WWE Live event recently

On Smackdown, both men had a feud with Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship but courtesy of some dirty tactics from the champ, Rey and Balor never get to hold the Universal title.

Recently while speaking to Graham GSM Matthews of Bleacher report, Rey Mysterio was seen lauding Finn Balor and expressed his desire to feud with him in the future. He said, 

“You took the name right out of my mouth. “I’ve said it before in the past: Finn Balor is definitely a guy I’d love to step in the ring and do a program with. I think he’s an incredible talent, and I think our styles clash, and we’d definitely give [fans] something special to remember.”

WWE Raw: Will we see Finn Balor vs. Rey Mysterio in the future?

Finn Balor and Rey Mysterio have shared the ring in the past but never got an opportunity to go against each other. After taking part in the fatal 4-way ladder match last week, there is a huge possibility of both eventually colliding at some stage. We just hope these two have a memorable feud that could leave some sort of impact in the minds of the ardent fans.
