WWE Raw: Kevin Owens eyeing to become WWE Champion again- The Prize Fighter and former Universal Champion Kevin Owens, has moved to Monday Night Raw on the second night of WWE Draft, and it seems like he has his sight set already on Big E & his WWE Championship.

Kevin Owens was one of the most underutilized top talents on Friday Night Smackdown. He did have two memorable matches against Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, but in one of them, he got robbed courtesy of a referee botch. After Wrestlemania 37, he was completely obsolete on the Blue brand as he wasn’t considered in any fruitful storylines.

The former Universal Champion appeared on Raw Talk & revealed that he has his sights set on the coveted WWE Championship and also talked about capturing the Raw Tag-Team Championship for the first time in his career. Owens said,

“It’s the WWE Championship [title that has evaded him], which happens to be on Monday Night RAW, so I see where you’re going with this. You wanna know if I wanna win the WWE Championship? Of course, I want to win the WWE Championship. There’s plenty of things I’d love to do on RAW. You know I’ve never been a Tag Team Champion in WWE either? I’d love to do that. The red tag team titles look cool. I’d go for that, the WWE Championship.”

WWE Raw: The WWE Championship has evaded Kevin Owens in the past

Kevin Owens has had his opportunity of winning the coveted WWE Championship not once but four times in the past. He had two opportunities in 2018 and two in 2019. Talking about the Raw Tag-Team Championship, Owens had two opportunities with different partners to claim the titles. In 2016, he and Chris Jericho lost to the New Day, while in 2020, he teamed up with Samoa Joe only to lose against Seth Rollins & Buddy Murphy.

If Owens goes after the Raw Tag-Team Championship this time around, it would be interesting to see whom he will partner with. Finn Balor seems to be an option as the two men are good friends and have expressed for pairing together in the past. Balor & Owens could be a great tag team if formed.
