WWE Raw: Seems like the WWE Raw Superstar and the All-Mighty WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has unfolded many chapters from his WWE books on the recent Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions. Besides expressing his willingness to face Brock Lesnar one-on-one, the All-Mighty WWE Champion also revealed that The legendary Undertaker once told him to change his amateur wrestling style by spending more time standing on his feet in the ring. Doing this will help him look bigger among the live crowd.
Bobby Lashley stated, “As I started moving into it a little bit more and trying a different kind of characters, some of the things I did in amateur (wrestling) kind of made me smaller. And ‘Taker told me once, when we were doing house shows, I instantly wanted to get in that wrestling role. And ‘Taker was like, ‘Stand up. Look at the ring and look at you. When you go down like that, it makes you look small. You stand up, you have the ring plus you’re big, you’re impressive, they’re looking at you like, “Wow!”‘ I tried to move more into the professional wrestling style, especially after my first run (with WWE).”
WWE Raw: Bobby Lashley credits The Undertaker for his success in heydays
The incident Lashley discussed on the Broken Skull Sessions hails way back in 2005 when the All-Mighty WWE Champion was in his first stint with the company. His first stint lasted from 2005 till 2008, and till then, he was one of the most compelling figures in ECW (a disbanded product of WWE). In his first stint, he had some memorable encounters against CM Punk, Umaga, John Cena, etc., and held the United States and ECW Championship as well.
Lashley’s second stint with the company started in 2018, and today he is one of the most intimidating figures in all WWE. The current WWE Champion is all set for a title defense against the WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg at WWE Summerslam PPV scheduled for August 21 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Paradise, Nevada.
