WWE NXT: WWE knows that Gargano’s contract is coming to an end
In recent times, WWE has been careless with the contracts of their superstars. However, unlike Adam Cole & Pete Dunne’s contract situation, WWE had known for a while about Gargano’s deal coming to an end this year.
He has been around with the company since 2015 and inked a deal with the NXT promotion in 2016. There were rumors right before the revamp of NXT as NXT 2.0 that the revamped version would rely more on developing new talents from the scratch. Therefore, with Gargano being six years in the company and not getting drafted to either Raw or Smackdown in the recently concluded WWE Draft, one could very well assume that the former NXT Champion might be on his way out of WWE.
