WWE NXT Takeover: Triple H also confirmed the event
Triple H had a conference call with media almost two weeks back when he first dropped the ball for NXT Takeover 36. He confirmed that WWE is working on the show, and it will most probably take place on August 22. He said,
“So, it’s a little bit of a work in progress as far as where that show lands for the SummerSlam weekend TakeOver. We are in a unique time coming out of the pandemic and getting back on the road and doing live events and SummerSlam going to Vegas in a stadium, and hopefully, we will have a full house it should be awesome but, it’s a unique time, a lot of it is everyone is trying to feel things out.”
NXT Takeover: NXT has been making all the right noises with NXT Takeover, and Takeover 36 on Summerslam weekend (following WWE Summerslam August 21) will be a monumental event. The match card for NXT Takeover 36 is yet to be crafted, but with a new rivalry stitching between Samoa Joe and NXT Champion Karrion Kross, consider a colossal Samoa Joe vs. Karrion Kross clash almost booked for the event.
