Besides the two title matches, one bout to determine the final spot in NXT Breakout Tournament Finals will be on the line. WWE NXT Match Card: Samoa Joe and Karrion Kross to come face-to-face
With this being the go-home edition for NXT Takeover 36 of the Black and Gold brand, the two men who will headline the PPV event on Sunday, August 22, will come face-to-face.

The build-up for this match has been exemplary as Karrion Kross provoked the ugly side of Samoa Joe, a side that he would have never met. Therefore before the quintessential bout on August 22, a face-off will spice up things this week.

WWE NXT Next Week: Kushida to defend the NXT Cruiserweight Championship against Roderick Strong
Roderick Strong will take his rivalry with the NXT Cruiserweight Champion one notch above when he takes him on this coming week for the Cruiserweight Championship.
The two men have been feuding of late, with Roderick Strong having the upper hand in the rivalry. Now, they will settle their differences this week with the Cruiserweight Championship on the line.

WWE NXT Next Week: NXT Tag Team Championship- Imperium vs. MSK
Imperium is set to challenge MSK for the NXT Tag Team Championship this week. MSK has been terrific in their title defenses so far on the Black & Gold brand. They have romped past every challenge put in before them but haven’t face anything or anyone like Imperium. A match for the Tag Titles between the two teams will definitely be worth a watch.
WWE NXT Next Week: Semifinals of NXT Breakout Tournament Finals
Carmelo Hayes and Duke Hudson will be up against each other to grab the final spot in the NXT Breakout Tournament Finals. The winner of this match will face Odyssey Jones in the finals of the tournament at WWE NXT Takeover 36.
