WWE NXT: Tonight’s WWE NXT focused on the build-up of NXT Takeover 36 as two more matches were announced for the PPV event. Besides the matches announced, we witnessed some impelling one-on-one bouts that stole the show. Here, we have listed the three takeaways from the night. Let’s have a look.

WWE NXT: Ilja Dragunov vs. Pete Dunne

Ilja Dragunov is gearing up to face perhaps the biggest obstacle of his pro-wrestling career in Walter at the NXT Takeover 36 for the NXT UK Championship. However, ahead of the quintessential championship bout, Dragunov battled a former NXT UK Champion, Pete Dunne, in the main event of tonight’s show.

The athleticism shown by the two superstars was eye-pleasing as both had the answers to each other’s offense. The match had everything on display until the NXT UK Champion Walter surprisingly showed up to distract Dragunov.

The distraction proved good for Dunne as when Dragunov was trying to go for the Torpedo Moscow, Dunne leveled him with a fierce forearm followed by the Bitter End to conclude an excruciating match.

WWE NXT: Million Dollar Championship match made official for NXT Takeover 36 between LA Knight and Cameron Grimes

LA Knight will defend his Million Dollar Championship for the third time against Cameron Grimes in yet another interesting stipulation. If Grimes wins, he will be relieved from his duties as the Buttler of LA Knight, but if he loses, Ted Dibiase will become LA Knight’s butler.

The proposition was made by LA Knight himself tonight on the show when all the three men were present in the ring. Grimes wasn’t happy with the stipulation as he was telling Te Dibiase to not accept it, but the veteran Million Dollar Man was up for it gave a thumbs up to this match and stipulation.
