WWE Night of Champions 2023: The Bloodline Implodes

The match reached a climactic end when Zayn executed the helluva kick on Solo Sikoa and pinned him for the count. Interestingly, the Tribal Chief was betrayed by his Bloodline brothers – the Usos, who interrupted the match. Jimmy Uso displayed defiance by delivering two powerful superkicks to Roman Reigns. Escaping alongside a conflicted Jey Uso, Jimmy’s actions mirrored the falling out Reigns had experienced with Sami Zayn at this year’s Royal Rumble. Solo Sikoa took the pinfall, leaving Reigns visibly furious as the show ended.

WWE Night of Champions 2023: Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa vs Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens

During the intense match, Sami Zayn made a striking entrance, donning a Thawb (Arab garment), and electrified the crowd with a promo delivered in Arabic, generating heightened excitement. The audience rallied behind Zayn and erupted enthusiastically when he entered the ring to face Reigns. However, Reigns opted to tag out and had Solo Sikoa start the match against Zayn. Despite Owens and Zayn initially building early momentum, Reigns resorted to cheap shots to help Sikoa gain control.

Reigns and Sikoa employed a relentless assault on Zayn, culminating in Sikoa super kicking Owens off the apron. Eventually, Zayn managed to tag in Owens. Still, despite Owens’ efforts, he couldn’t put Reigns away with his signature popup powerbomb. Reigns retaliated with a Superman punch, but Owens displayed resilience by kicking out. Owens struck back with a stunner, but Reigns rebounded off the apron to deliver a spear, leading to both teams tagging out.

Zayn executed the helluva kick, only for Reigns to break up the pin. Reigns attempted a spear but inadvertently took out the referee. Zayn retaliated with a Superman punch of his own and aimed for a spear, but Reigns countered with his own Superman punch. Owens reentered the fray and speared Reigns.

WWE Night of Champions 2023 Results: The Usos betray The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns

As Owens prepared to drive Reigns through the announce table, The Usos intervened and launched an assault on Owens. Back in the ring, The Usos attempted a double superkick on Zayn. Still, he evaded the attack, resulting in Sikoa getting struck by mistake. Reigns became infuriated and confronted Jimmy, leading to an intense exchange. Reigns berated Jey, and Jimmy responded by delivering a superkick to Reigns, to the delight of the crowd. Jimmy didn’t stop there and delivered another powerful superkick to Reigns, receiving a resounding ovation.

Following The Usos’ departure from the scene, Zayn hit Sikoa with a helluva kick. A new referee arrived to count out Sikoa, securing the victory for Owens and Zayn, who retained the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Titles.
