Early Match Card Predictions for Night of Champions 2023

  • Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns vs Bobby Lashley at Night of Champions 2023

At the 2023 Night of Champions, Roman Reigns will mark his 1000th day as the Universal Champion. Also, it has been reported that Reigns will defend his Championship at the PPV event. If the question arises against whom Reigns will defend his Championship, then Bobby Lashley might be the one. Reigns and Lashley will present a fresh bout and raise excitement within the WWE Universe.

Winner prediction: Roman Reigns

  • World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins vs AJ Styles at 2023 Night of Champions

Seth Rollins has already become the first finalist for the World Heavyweight championship. Considering their history together, his opponent for the title should be none other than AJ Styles. The two best WWE Superstars feuding for many titles will make fans go crazy.

Winner prediction: Seth Rollins

  • SmackDown Women’s Championship: Bianca Belair vs Charlotte Flair at the Night of Champions

Charlotte Flair lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39. Thus, a rematch with Ripley would have been baseless.

However, Bianca Belair, who is the Raw Women’s Champion, has been drafted to SmackDown, while Rhea Ripley, the SmackDown Women’s Champion, has been drafted to Raw. Thus, there will be an exchange of titles between the two. Hence, we might see Charlotte Flair challenging the EST of WWE for the title.

Winner prediction: Charlotte Flair

  • Raw Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley vs Natalya at Night of Champions 2023

If a change of titles happens, Rhea Ripley, who is currently the SmackDown Women’s Champion, will soon become the Raw Women’s Champion. However, on Monday Night Raw recently, Rhea Ripley defeated Dana Brooke and, following the match, had a staredown with Natalya. Thus, a match between the two could be in the cards.

Winner prediction: Rhea Ripley

  • United States Championship: Austin Theory vs LA Knight at 2023 Night of Champions

Recently Austin Theory retained his Championship at WWE Backlash against Bobby Lashley and Bronson Reed. Hence, it’s time for the champ to invest in fresh feuds. Thus, LA Knight, who has recently become a fan favorite, would be the perfect opponent for Theory at the upcoming PPV event.

Winner prediction: Austin Theory

  • Intercontinental Championship: Gunther vs Matt Riddle at the Night of Champions

Recently, Intercontinental champion Gunther and the rest of the Imperium were drafted to Raw. Also, on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens faced Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci of The Imperium. Matt Riddle has been accompanying Zayn and Owens recently. So, the two Superstars who were missing on Monday Night are Gunther and Matt Riddle. Thus, moving forward, we might see a match between the two at the Night of Champions.

Winner prediction: Matt Riddle

  • Women’s Tag Team Championship: Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez vs Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville at Night of Champions 2023

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are the current Women’s Tag Team Champions. However, recently, the duo has been going back and forth with the Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville teams. Thus, it might come soon that the latter duo challenges the champs for a title match at the upcoming pay-per-view event.

Winner prediction: Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville

  • Undisputed Tag Team Championship: Street Profits vs The Usos at 2023 Night of Champions

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are the current Undisputed Tag Team Champions. However, given the fact that Zayn and Owens won’t appear at Saudi Arabia and also keeping in mind that every championship is to be defended at the Night of Champions, the champs might soon lose their titles to Street Profits, who seems to be getting a push from the company shortly.

Thus, if Street Profits becomes the new Undisputed Tag Team Champions, The Usos might take a shot to get their titles back and challenge the Street Profits to a match at The Night of Champions.

Winner prediction: The Usos

However, with Night of Champions scheduled for later this month. Let’s see what the event has in store for us.
