WWE News: WWE to release several NXT Superstars soon: Reports

There are many reports surfacing on the internet regarding WWE’s next mass release among the NXT brand. Earlier, WWE announced a 90-day trial to improve NXT Superstars who could avoid being released. WWE came up with this idea in order to bring potential talent from the superstars.

A recent report from Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio noted WWE’s six-month evaluation period is coming to an end soon and WWE will try to get rid of NXT superstars who have performed below average. Eventually, WWE will release those superstars who have made no significant progress in the given span, which leads the company no choice other than to release them from their contracts.

Recently, on April 29, WWE conducted a round of mass releases that included popular names like Dakota Kai, Harland, Dexter Lumis, Malcolm Bivens, and Persia Pirotta. However, many superstars from the Black and Gold era haven’t left due to the company’s request. Superstars like Johnny Gargano and Adam Cole didn’t renew their contracts with WWE. As of now, WWE will soon conduct another round of mass releases for the NXT brand.
