Last Night, Cody Rhodes and his wife Brandi Rhodes were present at the award show which aired live on ABC from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA. The couple went to the red carpet, then later Rhodes presented the Best Comeback Athlete, which was won by NBA player Klay Thompson. During Rhodes’ time on the stage, they announced the best WWE moment award.
As noted, earlier this week, there were 16 nominations for the WWE money which later got cut down to the final four. The final four featured Rhodes’ return beat out The Undertaker’s WWE Hall of Fame induction, Big E’s MITB cash in against Bobby Lashley, and WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin delivering Stunners to Pat McAfee, Theory, and WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 38.
