Detroit is one of the most popular places in the US including Eminem. It also hosted the 2007 WrestleMania and now it looks forward to hosting the 2023 SummerSlam. Michigan will host SummerSlam after 3 decades since 1993. As per the recent press release from WWE, the 2023 SummerSlam is locked for Ford Feild in Detroit and the tickets will be available from April 14th, following WrestleMania 39.

“We are excited for Ford Field to host WWE’s biggest event of the summer and look forward to the WWE Universe converging on Detroit to celebrate SummerSlam’slong-awaited return to Michigan,” said Dan Ventrelle, EVP, Talent at WWE.
“Landing WWE SummerSlam at Ford Field is a signature win for Detroit and continues the momentum of the Detroit Sports Commission in attracting major sporting events to the region,” said DSC Executive Director Dave Beachnau.
“Metro Detroit enjoys a special place in WWE history and has produced many iconic moments. Thank you to the entire WWE family for entrusting us with this incredible opportunity, and we look forward to delivering a first-class experience.”
SummerSlam is the second biggest event of the year following WrestleMania. WWE fans eagerly wait for the event every year. WWE held its last SummerSlam at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennesse. The show was headlined by Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match.
