WWE News: WWE planning to snub another popular PLE after similar reports regarding Hell in a Cell
According to WrestleVotes, WWE considering moving MITB matches back to WrestleMania instead of having a whole different PLE for it. The company is running the MITB shows since 2010. However, a major change would be seen under Triple H’s regime where the company has changed many things in the past few years.
WrestleVotes noted, “Putting Money in the Bank on WrestleMania, one night women’s and one night men’s is something I’ve heard. I know since Hunter has taken over, the idea of one night women and one night men is alive.”
Earlier, WWE held its MITB matches at WrestleMania between WrestleMania 21 to 26. However, the company transitioned it into a show to drive more thrill to the event. In 2017, WWE also added the first ever Women’s MITB ladder match to consider the lucky woman to cash in for a title opportunity.
The news broke up after rumors surfaced WWE is considering moving away from stipulation events with Hell in a Cell being ” completely dead”.

WWE News: What happened at the 2022 Money in the Bank PLE?
WWE held its Money in the Bank PLE on July 2nd, 2022. The event featured 4 title bouts with the US title, Undisputed tag team titles, Raw, and SmackDown Women’s Title on the line. Liv Morgan won the women’s MITB ladder match and later cashed in the briefcase on Ronda Rousey, defeating her to win the SmackDown Women’s Title.
The men’s MITB Ladder match featured Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Omos, Madcap Moss, Riddle, Sami Zayn, Sheamus and Theory. The former US Champion Theory was a surprise entrant added to the ladder match, who eventually won the 2022 MITB briefcase. However, the youngest US Champion is yet to cash in his MITB briefcase.
