WWE News: Here’s the latest WWE news. WWE is saddened to hear the news of Dusty Hill of ZZ Top passing away. A Dallas native and a prominent name in the music industry, Hill was known as the legendary bassist for The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-inducted ZZ Top.
He took his last breath last night while asleep at his residence in Houston, Texas. It got reported that Hill was dealing with severe health concerns related to hip issues, but his near and dear ones were hoping for a “Speedy Recovery,” but it couldn’t happen.
Hill has delivered some of the cult classics like- “Sharp Dressed Man,” “Gimme All Your Lovin,” to name a few. With over 50 million records sold all around the globe, the music industry has definitely lost a gem.

After getting the saddened news of Hill’s demise, WWE issued a statement on their official website and took to Twitter to express grief. Below is the Twitter post,

WWE News: Dusty Hill of ZZ Top has hosted two WWE Shows in the past.
Dusty Hill and his bandmate Billy Gibbons were ardent fans of WWE and have a history with the company. Being a huge fan of the company and its work, Hill has hosted one WWE Raw episode on July 20, 2009, at Raleigh, North Carolina. Besides hosting, he has been a part of the crowd for several other shows, including the PPV event WWE Unforgiven in 2005.
