WWE News: WWE has nixed plans for a major PPV in December- WWE has reportedly canceled a major PPV event scheduled for December. The WWE TLC PPV, which was supposed to take place on December 19, has been canceled.
It was reported earlier today that WWE has no plans for conducting TLC PPV that would have aired live from the All-State Arena in Chicago on December 19. However, the new plan at work is to have a Smackdown event on December 17, airing from the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.

WWE News: Why the PPV has been canceled?
According to an update provided by Fightful Select, the reason for the change in schedule appears to be the proximity of the New Year’s Day PPV named WWE Day One that will take place on January 1, 2022. The report further revealed that the plans to nix WWE TLC were made well over a month ago.

Talking about WWE Day One, the PPV event will be conducted in the watchful eyes of WWE President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, on January 1, 2022.
WWE News: This would be the first year without WWE TLC PPV since its inception
With WWE TLC getting nixed, 2021 will be the first year without a TLC PPV since its inception in 2009.- This also means that the WWE Survivor Series PPV slated for November 21 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, would be the final PPV event of 2021.
We are waiting for WWE’s next big event, i.e., WWE Crown Jewel, scheduled for October 21 at the Mohammed Abdo Arena, located in Boulevard Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia. The show will be headlined by the Universal Championship bout between Roman Reigns & Brock Lesnar.
