As per recent reports, Edge and Finn Balor will face each other inside Hell in a Cell at WrestleMania 39. The match was supposed to happen at Royal Rumble, but WWE scrapped the plans. WrestleMania 39: WWE reportedly bringing back HELL IN A CELL, Edge to face Finn Balor at WrestleMania Hollywood

Recently, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio gave an update on rumored matches for the SoFi Stadium show in April. He mentioned WWE is planning to bring back Hell in a Cell gimmick match for WrestleMania season and Edge and Finn Balor are possible contenders for the match.

As noted earlier, WWE tried to scrap gimmick Premium Live Events such as Hell in a Cell but use them on special occasions. The Rated R superstar and Judgment Day leader were supposed to face each other at Royal Rumble. However, WWE scrapped their plans because of Edge was busy shooting for popular series.

Edge and Finn Balor will battle at Elimination Chamber before a possible WrestleMania 39 showdown

On the recent episode of Monday Night Raw, Edge and Beth Phoenix challenged Judgment Day members to a showdown at the Elimination Chamber in Montreal, Canada.

Edge and Finn Balor will compete at the Elimination Chamber in a mixed tag team match alongside Beth Phoenix and Rhea Ripley. Both teams are having issues since Extreme Rules when Judgment Day decimated Beth Phoenix. At the 2023 Royal Rumble, once again, both teams collided with each other, leading to a huge brawl.
