Edge’s WWE Status still hangs in balance as his WWE contract says that he has to wrestle five matches in a year. His merry run continued in 2021 as well when he made a return from a tricep injury to feature yet again in the Royal Rumble match at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view and went onto win the match by outlasting 29 other superstars.
