The former NXT Champion took to his Twitter to share a video of the Luchador performing in front of a Lucha crowd. Along with the video, he thanked the Mexican crowd for chanting “Johnny Lucha” chants.

WWE held its live event in Mexico where several superstars performed in front of the Mexican crowd. Rey Mysterio was one of them who competed in a mixed tag team match alongside Raquel Rodriguez and AJ Styles against Judgment Day. The match proved to be a highlight reel for the fans watching live with Dominik Mysterio playing his definitive heel role.

WWE News: Rey Mysterio loses in an intense match against Gunther
Rey Mysterio will be facing Gunther for the Intercontinental Title on Friday Night SmackDown. However, due to WWE flying to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel, WWE has already tapped its 11/5 episode of WWE SmackDown.
As per the reports and fans attending the live show, Rey Mysterio faced a huge loss from Gunther after an intense match. The Ring General retained its Intercontinental Title after decimating the Luchador in a brutal assault. However, Mysterio will still try to gain his momentum back after his loss.
