Several WWE Veterans changed their field of interest once they got retired from wrestling. Today we will see the top 5 WWE Superstars who are changed their field of interest after their retirement from wrestling.
- Bret Hart- Musical Actor
Bret Hart is a 7-time World Champion who was known for his best time in WWE. He was one of the top superstars in WWE during his reign in WWE. The Hitman had great success in wrestling with many title reigns to his name. Also, he is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer.
However, after his retirement from wrestling in 2000, Bret Hart started his career in writing biographies and being a musical actor. Hart joined a traveling production of Aladdin: The Family Musical in 2006 and reprised the role of Genie.
Moreover, Hart also opened an Owen Hart Foundation for cancer patients.
2. Kane- Mayor
The Big Red Machine is one of the best WWE Superstars in WWE who made a successful run as a heel. He is known for his destruction like his on-screen brother, The Undertaker. He is a former WWE Champion and a 12-time World Tag Team Champion. He also had many feuds in WWE, which gave rise to his demonic character in WWE.
Kane is also known for his most Royal Rumble appearances, and most PPV matches are now surpassed by Randy Orton. Currently, Kane is the Mayor of Knox County in Tennessee after being elected in 2018. Last year, WWE inducted Kane into the 2021 class of the Hall of Fame.
3. Scotty 2 Hotty- WWE Performance Center Trainer
Scotty 2 Hotty is a former World Tag Champion who had an impressive run in WWE. He is best known for his time in Too Cool Faction, bringing up WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi too. He also competed in the lightweight division and won the WWF Lightweight division title.
After his retirement from wrestling, he joined as a firefighter and later was hired by WWE as a trainer in the WWE Performance Center. Till 2021, he was a senior trainer in WWE’s Performance Center where he trained new upcoming superstars.
4. Ivory- Animal Daycare Owner
Ivory, one of the strongest female wrestlers in the 2000s who stood out as part of the Right to Censor team during the Attitude Era, was one of the female superstars who blazed the way for the Women’s Revolution.
The Hall of Famer aided fellow superstars Lita and Trish Stratus in their training. Both women became the WWE Women’s Champions.
Following her retirement from wrestling in 2006, the three-time Women’s Champion focused on dogs, opening her own animal daycare and grooming company in 2007. Currently, she is extensively building her business.
5. Ken Shamrock- Body Guard
Ken Shamrock is one of the biggest sensations in early WWE due to his huge success in UFC. He achieved great heights in MMA later being a part of WWE. He was also a former Intercontinental Champion and 1998 King of Ring.
Shamrock was hired to protect one of the world’s most famous rap artists. In 2014, the UFC Hall of Famer was sighted defending 50 Cent and declared that he had a fantastic time.
